We are a family owned and operated Reptile business, located in Southwest Missouri, but for us it is truly more of a passionate hobby. We pride ourselves on producing truly high quality captive bred reptiles. We do this by searching out and acquiring only the finest quality reptiles we can find to add to our breeding stock in this way we can assure our clients that every animal they purchase from Backwoods Exotics is of the highest possible quality and due to the care, love and personal commitment of every member of the Backwoods staff during this process we are confident we produce one of the finest reptiles in the industry.

Even though we have been working with reptiles for more than 10 years we are still excited and anxious about each and every birth or hatching. That excitement and passion is visible in the way every member of the staff works with and handles each baby.
